In-browser
Zero COGS OCR
Tesseract runs in WebAssembly on your machine. No paid vision API, no queue, no GPU bill per screenshot.
Private
Pixels stay here
Sheetshot never uploads your image. Privacy isn’t a policy page — it’s the architecture.
Downloads
CSV and .xlsx
Edit the grid, then download CSV, Excel, or copy TSV straight into Sheets. Indian grouping like 1,00,000 stays one cell.
How the grid is built
- 1. Prepare. We downscale, fix EXIF rotation, invert dark screenshots, and deskew a few degrees.
- 2. Read. OCR returns words plus bounding boxes — not a blob of text.
- 3. Cluster. Rows by Y, columns by X. You fix cells before export.

Once, on your Google account. 3 successful exports to try it with no login.
FAQ
- Do I need an account?
- Not for the free exports. To buy lifetime access, sign in with Google so the Polar order follows that account on any device.
- Does my image leave the device?
- No. OCR runs in the browser. The photo stays on your device — Sheetshot never uploads it.
- What’s free, and what does $9 get me?
- 3 successful exports are free on this browser with no login. After that, $9 unlocks unlimited use on the Google account you pay with.
- Does it work on phone photos?
- Yes. Snap a marks sheet, receipt, or a table on a screen and drop the photo in. We fix EXIF rotation before reading it.
